Kokerboom Forest & Drive Back to Stellenbosch

Aloidendron dichotoma is one arborescent aloe species native to northern South Africa and Namibia. Currently, the South Africa Red List assessment lists this species as vulnerable to the potential impacts of climate change projected to cause its population to decline into endangerment. The common name, Quiver Tree, is derived from the traditional use of hollowing out branches to hold arrows.
